Safety

Every hunter has been there and done that. It is our duty to continue to keep our clients, team, and partners safe at all times. We will require that every hunter, experienced or not, have the proper licensing, required education (if applicable) and state/federal stamps. We do a basic safety overview and evaluation prior to each hunt, if you are new to hunting, don’t worry! We will ensure you are up to speed with safety prior to departure.

Safety will never be compromised and we stress this with each hunter as we debrief prior to each outing. No Alcohol and/or illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on the hunt and/or in person or you will forfeit your costs to date.

Logistics

It’s simple, we do all the work. All of the staging of decoys and setup and take-down of blinds will be facilitated by our team. Hunters just be prepared to be safe, stay warm and shoot.

Meet The Team

Vince Kimbrough | Co-Owner

The Co-Owner of Prairie Bomb Outfitters, has over 40 years of hunting experience. Vince started hunting at 12 years old with his family and friends. Vince has fond memories of hunting as a child in the National Grasslands in Decatur Tx and on the water of Lake Fork. Over the next 41 years, Vince would hunt all over Texas and the central valley of California. Vince loves to hunt all waterfowl but specializes in duck hunting. For Vince, there is nothing better than watching ducks work over decoys as the sun rises and the world wakes up. Vince is a USMC Veteran and Law Enforcement Officer of 26 years.

Carson Raines | Co-Owner

A South Carolina Native, Carson grew up hunting and has been guiding for the past 6 years throughout South Carolina and Texas. The original country boy, Carson is always busy with the outdoors hunting, fishing, and doing landscaping during the off season. Carson’s passion is taking people to places they would never be able to hunt with preset decoys, setting calls, and watching the clients get bombed.

Dawson Welch | Guide

My name is Dawson Welch and I am 24 years old. I grew up in a small town in the upstate of South Carolina. Growing up I mainly hunted Whitetails but was introduced to waterfowl in high school, and I was hooked. Carson, who is a co-owner, grew up right down the road from me and we ended up meeting through mutual friends. Once he started Prairie Bomb I was hooked from the start. I’m going on year 4 of guiding waterfowl hunts and I have absolutely loved it. I also do all of the videography work at Prairie Bomb which has been super fun capturing the good times we have out in Amarillo. In the offseason I work construction in Charleston, South Carolina but you can usually find us out on the boat fishing and enjoying the Lowcountry.

Bill Goldman | Guide

My name is Bailey Goldman aka Bill I am twenty-two years old and from Aiken, South Carolina. My passion for waterfowl hunting started when I was nine years old in the swamps of South Carolina. After my first duck hunt, I was hooked. Once I got to high school, I really started to take waterfowl seriously. I was always eager to learn and become a better hunter. I would take trips to Arkansas with my Dad and his friends to hunt pit blinds in the rice fields. After high-school, I got to college and was lucky enough to meet the team at Prairie Bomb through a friend of mine at school. Once I finish my degree I will be working for my family’s construction company in the off season and enjoying the Texas Panhandle and all it has to offer from October through January. My name is Bailey Goldman aka Bill I am twenty-two years old and from Aiken, South Carolina. Jake Brantly | Guide

My name is Jake Brantley, I am twenty years old and from Collierville, Tennessee. I started duck hunting when I was 6 years old tagging along with my dad in the rice fields and flooded green timber of Arkansas. I fell in love with it immediately, and it’s a huge part of my life now. I went from hunting out of a leased pit, working my way up to running public land and setting out huge snow goose and speckle-belly spreads. After high-school me and a buddy took a trip out to Amarillo to hunt with Prarie Bomb Outfitters, and after seeing what hunting west Texas was like I was hooked. During the off season I work full time for a home builder and developer back home, but when it gets cold you’ll find me out in Amarillo with the Prarie Bomb crew.
